BEDFORDSHIRE HOSPITALS: PAY FAIR FOR PATIENT CARE

For years, NHS healthcare support workers have been undervalued and underpaid.

Most of us are paid at band two, but we provide invaluable clinical taks — heart rate monitoring, bloods, urine analysis and more — that should be paid at band three. That’s around £2,000 a year every full-time support worker is missing out on.

But staff at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are rising up for the pay we deserve. We’re putting pressure on trust CEO David Carter and chair Richard Sumray to pay us fairly for the jobs we do.

Show that you value support workers at Bedford and Luton & Dunstable hospitals by signing our petition to #PayFairForPatientCare.
