Hundreds of essential support staff at Colchester Hospital and community sites run by the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust face being sold out of the National Health Service.
This is bad for staff and bad for patients — just ask staff at the other major ESNEFT site, Ipswich Hospital. Their soft facilities are currently run by a private company, meaning workers are on worse conditions and not able to provide the best services for patients.
The contract at Ipswich ends in April 2025. Instead of taking back control of cleaning, portering and catering, ESNEFT wants to sell off everyone. We need to pile the pressure on ESNEFT to stop them. Ask your MP to support staff and patients by standing up for our NHS.
