ESNEFT: KEEP SERVICES IN THE NHS

Hundreds of essential support staff at Colchester Hospital and community sites run by the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust face being sold out of the National Health Service.

This is bad for staff and bad for patients — just ask staff at the other major ESNEFT site, Ipswich Hospital. Their soft facilities are currently run by a private company, meaning workers are on worse conditions and not able to provide the best services for patients.

On 21 November, the board says it will make its final decision on whether or not to outsource services. We need to put as much pressure as possible on the trust to do the right thing and run all services, at its acutes and in the community, directly for the benefit of patients, not shareholders.

Please write to the board to say in house is best. You can start by filling in your details.
