NHS jobs and services are under threat across Greater Glasgow and Clyde. For over a year, NHS workers in Greater Glasgow and Clyde have been getting together in their union – UNISON – to campaign against cuts to services like health visiting, Glasgow’s hospital at home service, care home nursing, administrative and clerical positions, various mental health and community health roles and Ward 36 at the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley.
UNISON NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde branch has been taking the fight directly to the board, our staff petition has over 4000 signatures and support for the public petition is growing.
We all know the impact of years of budget cuts on NHS services, the effect of further cuts on both staff and the public will be detrimental. We're calling on MSPs representing Greater Glasgow and Clyde to back our campaign and stop NHS cuts!
