Green Reps help workers and employers work together on climate action, sustainability and the transition to net zero.
But unlike Health and Safety reps, Learning Reps and Equality Reps, they have no statutory rights to do their job.
We're calling for new legal rights for Green Reps, including:
- Legal recognition in the workplace
- Time off to attend training and to carry out the role
- Rights to information and consultation on workplace sustainability/transition plans
- Right to form joint Futureproofing Committees to help workers and employers plan together.
A fair transition to net zero needs workers to have a voice.
Email your MP today and ask them to support rights for Green Reps.
