UNISON, alongside other trade unions, has been calling for the NI Executive and Assembly to deliver comprehensive, effective employment rights legislation before the next Assembly election.
A Good Jobs Employment Rights Bill has been proposed for introduction into the Assembly. This Bill represents a major opportunity to meaningfully tackle exploitative practices, improve work-life balance, and strengthen worker voice through trade union representation. However the end of this Assembly term is approaching and the window of opportunity to pass vitally important legislation is closing.
Email your MLAs today calling on them to support the Good Jobs Bill and strengthen workers’ rights without delay.
