Support Sirona care workers in Bath

Bath and North East Somerset awarded Sirona the contract to run adult social care on a flat rate, several years down the line Sirona find themselves unable to pay care workers fairly for the job they do.

Care staff have been given an ultimatum by Sirona management and will either face dismissal or have to accept a pay cut equating to thirty minutes per shift. Most of the workers earn just above the minimum wage and can’t afford to take a further financial hit.

• Call on Bath and North East Somerset Council to either re-negotiate the contract to ensure fair pay for care workers or to take the contract back in house.
